Stagger Runs on Flow Cell A and Flow Cell B

1 Wait for the run on the adjacent flow cell to begin a chemistry step, and then select

Pause. The Pause menu opens.

NOTE

Always pause the current run during a chemistry step opposed to an imaging step.

2 Select Normal Pause.

3 Wait for the software to complete the current chemistry step. The system is placed in a

safe state automatically.

4 After the adjacent run is paused, set up the new run.

5 After loading the new flow cell for the new run, close the compartment door.

6 Select Start to start the new sequencing run.

7 Select Resume on the adjacent flow cell to resume the paused run. The software

automatically controls chemistry and imaging processes on both flow cells.
