Diagnostics

The microprocessor at the heart of the system is constantly monitoring the switch-

es that are connected to the main unit.

➤ Locking

If the system is locked at the same time that the door is active, you will hear

one horn honk to indicate locking and a second horn honk to indicate Bypass

Notiﬁcation.

For example, if your vehicle has an interior light exit delay and you lock the

system before the interior light turns Off, you may hear a second Bypass Noti-

ﬁcation honk.

Note: Bypass Notiﬁcation does not occur when the system is in Silent Mode or

if the notiﬁcation honks have been programmed Off by the installer.

➤ Unlocking

Extra honks when unlocking the system is a notication that the batteries in the

remote are low and need to be replaced.

Important:

The optional horn honk feature must be installed.
